But if you really like Kempo and loves to train, instruct and compete. Then SKIF is the place for you!
What is the purpose of SKIF?
Firstly, SKIF is not formed to be further an internet organization. We are 100% real, and conduct high-quality kempo training. We arrange seminars, courses and competitions regular. Our first aim is to support the style sportkempo and organize and promote the contest, World Kempo Grand Prix (WKGP). But SKIF is also open for those who practice other styles of kempo and/or do not compete.
What is WKGP?
World Kempo Grand Prix is a competition held every two years. Each country participates with a team containing 5 men and 2 women. The countries meet in tournament form.
What is SPORTKEMPO?
Sportkempo is a style that is based both on ground techniques and standing techniques. To the different degrees you have to show sparring both on the ground and stand up. SKIF News
- We welcome our new affiliated members from Kenya and Egypt. We say welcome to managers Mr James Bobby Ware and Mr Ihab Eyada and their students to SKIF.
- We wish all our members a Happy X-MAS & a Happy New Year and hopefully will meet at the Grand Prix in May!
- We invite you to Sweden next years for the Kempo Grand Prix in May. For a bigger flyer click on it.
- Home again after a nice week in Bucharest, Romania. Sweden had only one competitior this year and it was Anders Olsson from sportkempo/ swekempo who competed in fullcontact Kempo. Unfortunately no medals to Sweden this year, but a great experience and we thank Mr Amatto Zaharia, who organized the hole event, for a great week. You can find some pictures here.
- We welcome our new affiliated members from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Mr Amir Topoljak and his students from city Zenica. Welcome.
- Next week Headcoach / Fullinstructor Martin Jönsson and one of his students, Anders Olsson, will travel to Bucharest Romania and represent Sweden in the 6th World Championships in Kempo.
